Aluminum hookahs are generally not recommended to be rinsed with high-temperature hot water for the following reasons:
Firstly, aluminum is a reactive metal that easily reacts with oxygen or other chemicals in water under high temperature conditions, which may result in the formation of an oxide layer or the precipitation of aluminum elements on the surface of aluminum hookahs. This may not only damage the material of the hookah, but also cause to excessive aluminum content in the water, posing potential risks to human health.
Secondly, aluminum hookahs may not only release chemicals at high temperatures, but also easily breed bacteria. Although aluminum hookahs may appear smooth on the surface, there may actually be many tiny gaps that can easily accumulate dirt and become breeding grounds for bacteria. If only high-temperature hot water is used for rinsing, it may not be possible to completely remove these bacteria and dirt.
